Job Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating management activities of the operations in conjunction with the General Manager.

Contribute effectively to guest experiences, manage all guest responses, organize guest meet ups, work with line team members to develop guest experiences, make operations smoother and easier.

Conduct regular operations meeting with all HODs to discuss routine operational matters, departmental performance targets and guest feedback.

Work closely with Sales & Marketing and Revenue teams to enhance and optimize the overall performance of the hotel.

Manage and optimize hotel budgets, controlling expenses and maximizing revenue.

Be responsible for all day-to-day queries, complaints or problems that arise in the hotel.

Drive brand audits and Guest satisfaction as a key deliverable with an emphasis on generating innovative ways to continually improve results.

Ensure consistent implementation and review of SOPs throughout all Departments.

Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and regular team meetings.

Ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health and Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises.

Qualifications

Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Management/MBA in Hospitality Management.

10-12 years of work experience in Hospitality and Must have prior experience in a management role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills.

Additional Information

Secondary / High school education

Certificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management and Basic Fire Fighting will be advantageous

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity

Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language

No criminal record

Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
