About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical and diligent Payroll Analyst. As part of the GBS HR team, this role will support Payroll processes across a number of countries.
Our ideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with experience in Payroll administration and knowledge of payroll regulations, preferably in more than one country. We also value integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills, with an ability to meet strict deadlines and to work with colleagues in international locations.
In this role, you will support Payroll processes for employees based across numerous geographical locations and at all levels of seniority within the organization. We view people as our greatest asset and the production of an accurate and timely payroll is crucial to our relationship with our employees.
Key Responsibilities
Processing payroll across multiple countries, working with in-country payroll processors where they exist.
Supporting and where possible optimizing payroll execution systems and processes, to facilitate the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes
Supports employee queries relating to payroll as they arise, working with in-country payroll processors to do so
Designs and prepares appropriate reports to support the business
Manages relationships with stakeholders such as the payroll COE, Finance, wider HR, Benefits team, 3rd Party payroll providers and employees
Ensures compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security
Supports required reconciliations with the Finance team, such as payments to statutory bodies, General Ledger files, etc
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping confidential information.

Problem resolution
Professional Experience
2-3 years of Payroll experience
An understanding of the principles of labour legislation
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Previous experience using Workday a plus
Experience of payroll processing across multiple countries a plus
Qualifications/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
Advance knowledge of Excel
Languages
English level C-1 a must
Working conditions
We support a hybrid working approach with 1 day/week working from our Bogota office with flexibility to attend more days based on business needs.
As you will be supporting markets in multiple time zones, some flexibility around working hours will be needed.
