We're looking for an experienced Engineering and Operations Coordinator to lead Intermoor's operations in Brazil. This strategic role will be responsible for coordinating engineering and operational activities for onshore and offshore projects, ensuring compliance with procedures, client requirements, and industry standards.
The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

Duties
Support the planning, execution, and close-out of offshore operations, including mobilizations, demobilizations, subsea installations, anchoring operations, inspections, surveys, and decommissioning activities.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, including analyses, procedures, drawings, calculations, technical reports, and project documentation.
Monitor schedules, budgets, risks, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring successful project execution.
Act as the interface between clients, suppliers, subcontractors, classification societies, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate internal support activities with Logistics, Procurement, QHSE, Finance, Human Resources, and other corporate functions.
Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, cost estimates, execution strategies, and documentation for tenders and bidding processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, client specifications, internal procedures, and international standards.
Support the development and implementation of new engineering methodologies, operational procedures, and technical tools.
Coordinate the recording of lessons learned, risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC) processes, contingency plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support Business Development and Sales activities by providing technical support during client meetings, presentations, and proposal development.
Monitor key project performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports on engineering and operational performance.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, project engineers, and operational teams.
Coordinate engineering support during offshore operations whenever required.
Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies throughout all project phases.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering, or related field
Active CREA registration
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Projects or Operations
Advanced English - reading, writing, and speaking
