Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineering Engineer to join the Cloud, Application & Container Security Chapter. This role will focus on driving secure-by-design practices across software supply chains, container platforms, Kubernetes environments, and cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Security Architecture & Governance

Define and implement security controls across application and container architectures.

Application & Container Security Engineering

Lead implementation of secure software supply chain controls across the Build–Ship–Run lifecycle.

Drive adoption of curated and hardened container images.

Secure Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and service mesh environments.

Automation & AI-Driven Security

Design and implement automated security provisioning and remediation capabilities.

Leverage AI/ML and agentic AI technologies

Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.

Mandatory Skills

DevSecOps & Platform Security

3+ years of experience working with Kubernetes and containerized environments.

3+ years of hands-on DevOps/DevSecOps experience.

Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD pipelines.

Experience integrating security testing into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.

Strong understanding of container lifecycle security (Build → Ship → Run).

Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.

Strong Infrastructure-as-Code expertise using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.

Understanding of SRE practices, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

Preferred Skills

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)

AWS, Azure, or GCP Security Certifications

Ideal Candidate Profile

Security engineering professional with deep expertise in DevSecOps, cloud security, and container security.

Strong experience securing modern cloud-native platforms and software supply chains.

Passion for automation, security engineering, and continuous improvement.

Ability to influence engineering teams and drive enterprise-scale security transformation.

Experience working in large-scale cloud and platform environments.

Pay: $14,000.00 – $152,046.46 per year
