Join us as an VP Audit-Global Investment Banking, where you will lead to audits related to Investment Banking by working closely with colleagues across teams. To be successful as an VP Audit-Global Investment Banking, you should have:

Experience leading audits, finance, or investment banking with the ability to review and write audit-related reports

Familiarity with financial products such as loans and structured products

Comfortable working with teams and participating in discussions with stakeholders

Preferred experience with data analytics, coding, or machine learning techniques

Highly valued skills:

Knowledge of financial systems or exposure to larger financial organizations

Professional certifications like CIA, CPA, CFA, or CISA

Knowledge of Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, and Research businesses and products, including Debt and Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Wholesale Lending

This role is located in New York.

Minimum Salary: $150,000

Maximum Salary: $210,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To support the development of audits aligned to the bank’s standards and objectives by working collaboratively with colleagues, providing accurate information and recommendations, and complying with policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

Audit development and delivery support, including financial statements, accounting practices, operational processes, IT systems and risk management.

Identification of operational risks to support the delivery of the Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Audit Plan through risk assessments.

Assessment of internal control effectiveness and their capability to identify and mitigate risk aligned to regulatory requirements.

Communication of key findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including the Audit Owner, senior managers and directors.

Identification of regulatory news and industry trends/developments to provide timely insight and recommendations for best practice.
