The firm invests across international markets, with a disciplined, research-led approach to identifying high-quality companies with attractive long-term growth, strong competitive positioning and compelling risk-adjusted return potential.
Due to continued growth, my client is looking to appoint a talented Investment Analyst to support company research, idea generation, portfolio monitoring and investment decision-making across a broad global equities universe.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys deep company work, fundamental research, financial modelling and developing clear, differentiated investment views. Global equities experience is essential, and buy-side experience is strongly preferred.
The Opportunity
Conduct fundamental bottom-up research across global listed equities
Build, maintain and stress-test detailed financial models, including DCF, scenario analysis and returns-based frameworks
Develop well-reasoned investment theses with clear variant views relative to consensus
Monitor existing portfolio holdings and broader watchlist companies, including earnings releases, news flow, market developments and key valuation drivers
Prepare high-quality investment memos, research packs and presentation materials for internal review
Contribute to investment discussions with clear recommendations, evidence-based reasoning and concise communication
Support portfolio analysis, price target revisions, position sizing inputs and broader investment decision-making
Attend management meetings, sell-side briefings and channel checks, and integrate findings into investment views
Requirements
3-7 years’ experience in global equities, gained in funds management, equity research or another public markets investment environment
Global listed equities experience is strongly preferred
Buy-side equity research experience is strongly preferred
Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
Strong accounting knowledge and the ability to interrogate the drivers behind reported numbers
Demonstrated ability to form independent investment views on companies, sectors and competitive positioning
Clear written investment reasoning and the ability to present complex analysis concisely
High intellectual curiosity, strong commercial judgement and genuine interest in individual stock selection
Strong academic results; CFA progress or completion will be highly regarded
