About the role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our property team. The BDM will be responsible for driving growth by identifying and acquiring properties for telecommunications infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with landlords, Strata managers and committees by ensuring a seamless onboarding process. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for real estate and telecommunications and a talent for sales and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect and generate new leads through networking, referrals, and marketing campaigns.

Introduce leads to the telecommunication network and onboard new buildings

Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, property investors, and developers.

Collaborate with the planning and design team to ensure smooth onboarding and handover of new clients.

Develop and implement strategies to increase the take up of infrastructure.

Represent the company at industry events, information sessions, community functions and committee meetings.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in company systems.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Effectively explain and educate stakeholders on the telecommunication network and how it operates

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in business development, sales or telecommunications

Strong understanding of the Australian property market and landlord expectations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Technical understanding of how telecommunication access networks operate and are installed (FTTP desired).

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

Desirable:

Experience working in a real estate agency environment.

Established network of property investors and landlords.

Marketing or digital advertising experience.
