Position Summary
Molex is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to support and grow a strategic OEM account. This role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen and technical expertise, with the ability to engage both engineering and purchasing organizations. The successful candidate will step into a critical position supporting a long-standing customer relationship and will be responsible for maintaining continuity while driving new growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage relationships across multiple customer functions (engineering, purchasing, operations)
Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, securing design wins, and expanding product penetration
Serve as the primary commercial interface for all account activity including pricing, negotiations, and contract management
Translate customer technical requirements into viable Molex solutions by working closely with engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams
Provide technical product guidance on connectors, cable assemblies, and electronic interconnect solutions
Lead account planning, pipeline development, and forecasting activities
Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, quality, customer service) to ensure successful program execution and customer satisfaction
Support prototype development, quoting, and production ramp activities
Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer issues
Conduct regular business reviews and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field strongly preferred)
5+ years of experience in technical sales, account management, and/or engineering.
Strong understanding of interconnect systems, cable assemblies, or related products.
Proven ability to work with both engineering and purchasing teams
Demonstrated success in managing complex accounts and closing technical sales opportunities
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large OEM customers within industrial, automotive, or heavy equipment markets
Background in connectors, wiring systems, or embedded electrical systems
Experience working in a global organization and coordinating across regions
Familiarity with ERP/CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)

For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000- $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form .
