Your Role & Responsibilities
Partner with product designers and engineering teams to ensure digital experiences meet WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards
Perform manual accessibility audits and testing across web and mobile platforms using assistive technologies
Review design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and implemented solutions for accessibility compliance
Analyze research findings and user insights to improve user journeys, workflows, navigation structures, and overall experience design
Create and deliver wireframes, storyboards, interface concepts, prototypes, and design documentation as needed
Conduct accessibility reviews within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments, including content and component-level assessments
Document accessibility findings and recommendations using established audit frameworks and Jira workflows
Collaborate with product teams to prioritize accessibility defects and support remediation efforts
Facilitate design workshops and translate diverse stakeholder feedback into cohesive, user-centered solutions
Support and contribute to design systems and digital design language standards
Evaluate completed solutions against accessibility, usability, and enterprise design metrics
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
3+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, Accessibility Design, or related digital design disciplines
Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards
Experience reviewing both design artifacts and code implementations for accessibility compliance
Proven experience conducting manual accessibility testing using: • JAWS and NVDA (Windows/Web)
VoiceOver (iOS)
TalkBack (Android)
Experience working within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including content review and component authoring environments
Strong proficiency with Figma for design reviews, collaboration, and annotations
Experience using Jira for issue tracking, workflow management, and accessibility documentation
Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodologies and UX best practices
Experience creating user journeys, user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently across multiple agile product teams
Experience working within Scrum or Agile development environments
Strong visual communication and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to design for users with complex healthcare and accessibility needs
Bonus Points If You Have
Familiarity with the ARIA Authoring Practices Guide (APG)
Experience leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude, or similar solutions to improve accessibility workflows or documentation
Experience applying accessibility guidance within enterprise design systems
Experience with additional CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Contentful, or Drupal
Experience contributing to AEM component libraries
Experience training content authors on accessibility best practices
Experience creating accessibility standards, playbooks, governance processes, or internal documentation
Experience working within healthcare, regulated industries, or large enterprise environments
Education & Certifications You Need
High School Diploma or GED required
Additional education in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or related disciplines is beneficial
Accessibility certifications and professional development credentials are highly valued but not required

Competitive Compensation – You choose the model that works best for you, both with company-sponsored benefits! $87,000-$97,000 annually or $50-$60 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
