Meet the Team

Operations & Middle Office is one of the firm’s largest departments and plays a critical role across the post-trade lifecycle. Within this environment, the Business Unit Control team provides independent oversight, control, and analysis across key business activities. The Product Development team connects business needs with delivered technology through a disciplined operating model that includes closed-loop prioritization, layered testing with clear accountability, and a governance cadence built to drive decisions, transparency, and measurable progress. The team supports strategic platforms across P&L, financing, NAV, returns, and valuation controls, partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to help the platform scale in a controlled, sustainable way.

What You'll Do

Work on core applications that support the firm’s P&L, Street and PM financing, NAV, returns, and valuation controls across asset classes and product types traded globally

Partner with Senior Leadership, funding desks, Treasury, Middle Office, Operations, Finance, and Technology on applications that are central to the firm’s operating model

Contribute to strategic firm initiatives, new product implementations, and the scaling of existing platforms, helping shape the direction of your product over time

Gather and analyze business needs, then translate them into clear, prioritized requirements and functional specifications

Work closely with dedicated development resources to drive implementation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure delivered solutions align with agreed requirements

Drive prioritization for your product by assessing effort, recommending what to build next, and sequencing work in confirmed priority order

Define acceptance criteria, test development output thoroughly, and provide signoff ahead of release

Identify gaps and friction points in the current product experience and bring forward practical, scalable improvements

What You Bring

Relevant experience in product management, business analysis, or a delivery-focused role within financial services or a similarly complex environment

Strong ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear, actionable product and delivery plans

Experience working closely with development teams to support implementation, resolve issues, and deliver solutions aligned with business intent

Sound prioritization judgment, with the ability to assess trade-offs, sequence work effectively, and focus on high-value outcomes

Strong testing and release discipline, including defining acceptance criteria and validating output before deployment

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted point of contact across business and technical teams

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Domain exposure to P&L, financing, NAV, valuation, or other control systems is preferred; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Agile delivery, SQL, Python, Java, or AWS is advantageous
