About the Role

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting carrier procurement activities across Mexico and Cross-Border operations. This role focuses on carrier sourcing, supplier development, market analysis, and cost optimization to build a competitive carrier network while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

What the Candidate Will Do

Support carrier sourcing initiatives and bidding events.

Identify, onboard, and develop new carrier partners.

Analyze transportation market trends, capacity, and pricing to support procurement decisions.

Negotiate transportation rates and support contract execution.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and support network optimization initiatives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners.

Monitor carrier performance and support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

Partner with Operations, Capacity, Pricing, and Sales to support customer opportunities and carrier strategies.

Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and market intelligence.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in Procurement, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain.

Strong analytical, problem-solving & attention to detail skills.

Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Advanced English (written and verbal).

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Transportation Procurement or Carrier Management.

Knowledge of transportation market trends and strategic sourcing.

Experience with Tableau, dashboards, and reporting tools.

Experience working with TMS platforms.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.

Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.

Willingness to travel to the U.S. as business needs require.
