We are currently recruiting for an HGV Driver to join the Distribution Team in Galway.

About the Role:

As a Frylite Solutions Driver, you will be responsible for providing customer service, delivering fresh cooking oil, and providing a used cooking oil collection service to Frylite Customers.

Hours of Work:

45 Hours per week Monday- Friday.

Occasional overtime offered when operationally required, including Saturdays which are paid at time and a half rate.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of drivers to ensure efficient day to day performance of their duties and to ensure that all deliveries made to customers’ premises are carried out in a safe and hygienic manner.

Load and unload vehicles efficiently as part of daily delivery operations.

Plan delivery routes and complete all necessary delivery and collection paperwork.

Carrying out deliveries as well as assisting other HGV drivers on 2 person routes.

Building excellent customer relationships and providing feedback of customer queries to wider Frylite Teams.

Stock control & invoicing.

Reporting of accidents, near misses, injuries, and spills. Ensuring all digital and hardcopy paperwork is completed.

Compliance and safety: Carrying out vehicle checks ensuring your vehicle is for purpose and secure always.

Responsible for washing of Frylite Solutions vehicles and ensuring vehicles are kept clean.

Carry out any other duties as requested by the Distribution Manager.

Essential Criteria

Must have a valid C licence, Up to Date CPCs and Tachograph Card. Driving license must not have any endorsements.

Can demonstrate how you have lived Frylite Solutions Values in previous roles (Relationships, Respect, Work Ethic, Excellence, Success) to lead positive and progressive distribution.

Good geographical knowledge of the road networks of surrounding counties to Depot would be advantageous.

Ability to demonstrate how you can be flexible to accommodate variable start and finish times, and occasional Saturday work.

Ability to work in a team.

Good communication skills.

Desirable Criteria

Experience of using hand held devices.

Knowledge of food hygiene rules.
