Qualifications

University degree in business administration, logistics, transportation management, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, shipping, or terminal operations and at least 3 years of experience in procurement functions.

Result-driven, enthusiastic, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills.

Analytical thinker with good negotiation and conflict management abilities.

Proven track record in successful stakeholder management.

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Ability to work cross-regionally and collaborate with diverse teams.

Proficiency in data analysis and market research.

Responsibilities

Develop and negotiate vendor-specific collaboration concepts for global terminal operators and achieve budget targets in collaboration with regional procurement teams.

Conduct market analysis and internal assessments to identify negotiation leverage points.

Implement strategic proposals to secure terminal capacity and maintain Hapag-Lloyd's competitiveness.

Drive cross-regional category strategy and sourcing activities, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.

Support port studies to analyze surplus and demand, impacting sourcing concepts.

Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships at relevant levels.

Collaborate with internal and stakeholders to identify value-add potentials.

Contribute to the creation and standardization of global supplier management processes and tools.
