About the role
What to Expect
As a Supply Chain Operations Manager you will be responsible for the containment of any Part Quality level issue coming from suppliers at the Fremont factory, 901 Page and Livermore warehouse, securing the correct inspection method is followed as well as maintaining control of the Non-conformant material associated to Supplier caused issues.
What You'll Do
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
Warehouse Operations: Supervise warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping in compliance with safety and quality standards
Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Metrics & Reporting: Track and report key quality KPIs (incoming defect rates, PPM, DOH, closure rates) to management; conduct trend analysis to drive improvement
Team Leadership: Hire, train, and develop a team of quality inspectors and technicians; set performance goals and foster a culture of quality excellence
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Deep knowledge of incoming inspection methodologies, AQL sampling standards, and MRB processes as well as PPAP, APQP, and MSA processes (preferred)
Hands-on experience with quality management systems (QMS) and ERP platforms
Proficiency in structured problem-solving tools (8D, FMEA, Control Plans, 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa)
Solid understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for supplier and cross-functional interactions
What You'll Bring

5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

Expected Compensation
$84,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
