About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong hardware/manufacturing background to lead end-to-end product and infrastructure projects with ODM partners. You will drive on‑time, on‑budget deliveries across NPI, production ramp, and operational improvement initiatives while coordinating global teams (engineering, supply chain, QA, operations). This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented PM who is comfortable in both Agile and formal program management environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning, execution and delivery of hardware/manufacturing projects (NPI, production ramps, product updates) with ODMs and contract manufacturers.
Create and maintain project schedules, resource plans, budgets, risk registers, and milestone reports; ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (hardware/software engineering, QA, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, operations) across time zones.
Manage scope, change control, and issue-resolution processes to minimize schedule slippage and cost overruns.
Use Agile and PMP principles to tailor project governance; run stand-ups, sprint planning (when applicable), and stage-gate reviews.
Track KPIs and success metrics (schedule adherence, cost variance, yield/quality metrics, defect escape rate) and drive continuous process improvements.
Oversee validation, test plans, and quality acceptance criteria during prototype and production phases.
Escalate and resolve supplier/ODM issues, lead root-cause analyses (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Facilitate effective handover to operations and support teams post-launch; ensure documentation and training are complete.
Travel as required to ODM sites, suppliers, and company locations; support on-site audits and production ramps.
Required Qualifications:
1-3 years of project management experience, preferably with hardware, manufacturing, or ODM partners.
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end hardware projects, including NPI and production ramp.
Familiar with Agile frameworks and PMP concepts; able to apply both in mixed-method environments.
Strong user of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA/Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft 365); comfortable building dashboards and status reports.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with server, data center, or industrial infrastructure projects.
Track record in issue resolution, RCA, and process improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma exposure a plus).
Experience working with global, distributed teams and cross-cultural stakeholders.
Familiarity with supply chain planning, BOM management, and manufacturing quality systems (ISO, IPC).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
Language:
english (Required)
Work Location: In person
