Summary:
Senior Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications for securities, pre/post trade, and operations. Translates business requirements into technical solutions, authors technical specifications, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications for securities and capital markets.
Map business requirements to system/technical specifications.
Author product design and technical specifications.
Collaborate with technical leads, offshore developers, testers, and production support teams.
Provide technical guidance to development teams and support project managers in identifying and mitigating risks.
Perform development estimations, impact analysis, and various testing (unit, integration, system).
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and adhere to project methodology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science or IT.
10+ years of software development experience, with a proven track record in distributed delivery teams.
Experience in a banking environment, preferably Private Banking or Wealth Management.
Knowledge of Credit and Risk, Capital Markets, Securities, Private Banking, and Wealth Management.
Proficiency in COBOL , DB2 , SQL , GIT , GitLab , Splunk , DBeaver , and Eclipse .
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Experience with APIs and Digital Banking is a plus.
