Join us as an E2E Test Lead
You’ll provide leadership across all quality matters within the platform or domain, championing testing excellence, automation-first practices and compliance with bank standards and policies
Play a key role in making sure changes move seamlessly from development into live environments through automated testing embedded within CI/CD pipelines
Build your expertise in quality engineering while working with a wide range of stakeholders across a collaborative technology environment.
We are offering this role at vice president level
What you’ll do
As our E2E Test Lead, you’ll make sure only well-designed and thoroughly validated solutions progress through testing, with a strong focus on automated functional assurance. You’ll make sure defects are identified, prioritised and resolved early based on business impact, supporting right-first-time customer outcomes by combining modern testing practices, automation and close collaboration across Agile teams.
You'll define quality and functional testing strategies aligned to shift-left principles, automation and CI/CD delivery. You'll also develop robust test plans that support the efficient and continuous flow of change across programmes, platforms and value streams.
You’ll also be:
Leading end-to-end test management, including planning, governance, risk management, issue resolution, dependency management and lessons learned
Driving functional testing strategy across programmes, promoting consistency, scalability, and reuse of automated test assets
Partnering with quality automation specialists to develop automated tests and analyse test outcomes
Embedding continuous testing through CI/CD pipelines, enabling rapid feedback, early defect detection and efficient test execution
Leading the transition towards fully automated functional testing through scalable frameworks and automation practices
Leveraging AI and intelligent tools to accelerate test design, test data generation, execution and defect prediction
Championing customer-focused design principles and continuously improving the solution quality and customer experiences
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with strong experience applying modern testing methodologies, including Agile approaches such as test-driven development and behaviour-driven development. You'll bring expertise across a broad range of test automation tools, alongside experience delivering testing activities within technology environments. You'll also need experience of the systems development lifecycle and modern quality engineering practices.
To succeed in this role, you’ll also bring the ability to relate day-to-day activities to broader platform, domain and enterprise objectives, with a focus on business outcomes.
We’ll expect you to have:
Practical experience testing ideas, products and designs, from planning through to execution
Experience across functional and non-functional testing, with deep expertise in system, integration and end-to-end functional testing
Strong experience in building and scaling automated testing frameworks across UI, API and service-level testing
Experience implementing shift-left testing practices, including TDD, BDD, early test design and requirements validation
Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps
Familiarity with AI-enabled testing tools or agent-based approaches to improve testing efficiency, coverage and quality
The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
