About the role

We are looking for a Senior Body Control Systems Engineer to support the development and evolution of Body Control Systems within complex automotive programs across light, medium, and heavy vehicles.

The role focuses on system design, requirements definition, and development coordination in a highly cross-functional and international environment.

Il tuo contributo in questo ruolo:

Define and manage SW/HW specifications for Body Control Systems (BCS), including Body Domain Control (BDC), Body Control Modules (BCM), and HVAC/ACM systems

Act as Function Owner, ensuring end-to-end requirements management and traceability

Support system architecture definition and component integration across vehicle platforms

Coordinate development activities with internal teams and external suppliers

Contribute to calibration and validation activities (bench and vehicle level)

Ensure compliance with Functional Safety (FuSa) and Cybersecurity requirements

Manage requirement lifecycle using tools such as Polarion / DOORS

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Architecture, SW Development, Validation, Thermal, Electrical systems)

Il Profilo ideale:

Degree in Electronics, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field

3–5+ years of experience in automotive electronics / body control systems

Strong experience in requirements engineering & system specification

Knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures and CAN communication (J1939/LIN)

Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity

Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS)

Familiarity with system engineering and validation processes (V-model)

Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments

Flexibility and adaptability across different project phases

Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle multiple interfaces

Nice to have:

Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for functional modelling

Knowledge of thermal management systems (HVAC), especially for EV/BEV

Experience with tools such as Vector CANalyzer, IBM Rhapsody

Hybrid model: on-site (Turin) + remote (flexibility required based on project needs)

Availability for international collaboration and occasional travel
