Outerwear Developer / Buyer
About the role
Help build outerwear that performs, from first idea to final delivery.
Lijnden | Product | 40 hours | Full-time
At Just Brands, we build menswear brands with character. PME Legend, Cast Iron and Vanguard each have their own voice, their own audience and their own place in the market. In outerwear, strong product needs more than a good idea. It needs sharp product development, solid supplier management, smart buying decisions and a clear grip on quality, timing and margin.
Outerwear is one of those categories where every detail matters: construction, fit, fabric, trims, costing, production planning and delivery. When the process runs well, collections land stronger, margins stay healthier and the business performs better.
But what really sets us apart is how we work together.
We’re team first. No ego, no unnecessary layers, no endless talking, no corporate theatre. We back each other, speak up, take ownership and keep pushing for better. We work hard, stay sharp and make sure there’s room to enjoy the ride too.
That’s where you you take the wheel.
Why this role matters
This is where outerwear product development and buying meet real commercial impact. As our Outerwear Developer / Buyer, you manage outerwear styles through the full product lifecycle: from development, costing and supplier follow-up to buying decisions, production tracking and final delivery.

What you’ll do
Manage assigned outerwear styles from development through production
Support costing, price negotiations and margin follow-up
Coordinate with suppliers to keep timelines, quality and delivery targets on track
Monitor the critical path and solve bottlenecks before they become delays
Work closely with Design, Sourcing, Buying and Logistics to keep execution smooth
Review samples and product details with a strong eye for construction, fit and quality
Contribute to improvements in product quality, supplier execution and sustainability
Help translate product ideas into commercial outerwear that is ready for the market.

enjoy balancing quality, timing, costing and margin
get energy from solving issues before they slow things down

Experience working with suppliers and managing development or production follow-up
