Meet the Team

Millennium’s Information Technology organization is core to the health and growth of the firm. Supporting an active, multi-manager business model, the Back Office App Dev team works within a flexible, scalable technology environment built around advanced proprietary systems and the continued development of next-generation analytical and operational capabilities.

What You'll Do

Develop, enhance, and own software solutions in a hands-on engineering environment

Partner with team members to design and architect scalable, maintainable solutions

Analyze application behavior and data to identify defects, resolve issues, and recommend improvements

Take end-to-end ownership of projects while managing stakeholder expectations and delivery priorities

Contribute to reliable, secure, and efficient application development across the full software development lifecycle

Support integration, testing, and deployment activities to help ensure high-quality releases

Participate in Agile team practices and collaborate effectively across development and user-facing teams

What You Bring

5+ years of production-level experience developing applications with .NET Core

Strong object-oriented programming skills and hands-on experience with .NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL

Experience using AI effectively to produce clean, secure, and efficient code

Solid understanding of streaming and distributed application patterns, including Kafka and microservices

Strong coding standards, with the ability to write reliable, readable code and provide thoughtful code review feedback

Working knowledge of Agile delivery methods and DevOps CI/CD practices, including tools such as JIRA

Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including integration and testing

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
