The HR Business Partner's core functions span the breadth of workplace cultural, and people matters, including human resources policy and strategy; organisational culture and change; performance and development; occupational health and safety management; and employment regulations.

What you will do

As HR Business Partner, you will provide trusted advice on complex people matters across the department.

You will support leaders to build positive workplaces while helping employees and managers navigate change.

You will:

manage complex employee matters including performance, conduct, wellbeing and workplace behaviour

provide expert advice on people policies, employment law and industrial matters

support leaders to improve people management, workplace culture and team performance

review HR policies, projects and processes to improve services and meet legislative requirements

use data and practical insights to support change and improve workplace outcomes.

About you

You hold a qualification in human resources, organisational development, business or a related field.

You have experience providing HR services in a large and complex organisation.

You should also have:

strong experience managing complex employee and industrial relations matters

proven ability to provide trusted advice to senior leaders

excellent judgement and critical thinking to solve difficult workplace issues

effective communication skills and a commitment to inclusive workplaces and continuous improvement.
