Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the MB5 TUW team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, full-time / for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Actuary / Mathematician - Accident, Property and Vehicle Insurance.

You can look forward to

You analyze markets in motor, property, and casualty insurance and derive well-founded recommendations for action

You prepare portfolio analyses with a focus on E+S Rück's business and provide valuable insights for our business units

You develop and optimize actuarial tools, particularly using R as well as Excel and BI/MicroStrategy environments

You actively shape the automation of underwriting processes and contribute to a future-oriented systems landscape

You assess the impact of regulatory requirements, particularly Solvency II, on the German reinsurance portfolio

You come equipped with

Successfully completed degree in (Business) Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable quantitative field of study

Professional experience in the (re)insurance industry and knowledge of motor, property, and casualty insurance

Actuarial expertise, for example through DAV courses, CERA, or a comparable qualification, ideally complemented by a completed DAV certification

Proficiency in R for actuarial calculations and programming

Native-level German and conversational English skills

Willingness to undertake occasional one- to two-day business trips

You combine a structured and self-reliant way of working with strong analytical and communication skills
