What you'll do:

Lead a team of data engineers, driving the development process end-to-end

Run team rituals: Weekly Planning, Daily Standups, Planning Poker

Coordinate closely with the analytics and product teams

Contribute to architecture design for new projects

Support and extend functionality of our existing systems

Optimize and automate development workflows

What you need to succeed:

Technical skills:

Apache Airflow

Apache Spark

ClickHouse

dbt

Experience with object storage / data lakes (S3; Apache Iceberg is a plus)

Kafka

Production-level Python and SQL

Understanding of product analytics and attribution (AppsFlyer, MyTracker, ad network trackers) - a strong plus

Leadership & management skills:

Experience leading a team of 3–5 people, or working as a tech lead with real ownership of deadlines

Track record of cross-functional projects spanning engineering, analytics, and product

Ability to give - and hold to - time estimates

Experience with knowledge transfer and documentation

Strong, constructive communication skills

Nice to have:

Background in ad-tech, mobile analytics, or marketing analytics

Experience with storage migrations and cross-region infrastructure moves

Experience using AI tools and agentic approaches in data engineering
