We have an opportunity in ACG Engineering of a Lead Analyst Functional Excellence
Job Objective
The Lead Analyst Functional Excellence – Pharma Machinery is responsible for analyzing data across procurement, planning, manufacturing, and logistics to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize cost across the end-to-end supply chain. The role supports custom engineering projects and standard machinery production by providing actionable insights on materials, vendors, delivery performance, and inventory. Improving business KPIs and supporting cost optimization and digital transformation
Primary responsibilities
1. Material Planning & Analysis
Analyze BOM (Bill of Materials) consumption vs. forecasts for custom and standard machines.
Identify long-lead components and recommend ordering strategies to prevent production delays.
Support procurement and engineering change management with timely data.
2. Supplier Performance Analytics
Track supplier on-time delivery, lead times, quality rejections, and pricing trends.
Maintain supplier scorecards and assist in vendor development decisions.
3. Production Planning Support
Provide data-driven insights to optimize machine build schedules and resource allocation.
Analyze capacity utilization across machining, fabrication, and assembly lines.
5. Project & Delivery Monitoring
Support cross-functional teams (project management, manufacturing, logistics) with real-time tracking of machine projects (make-to-order and make-to-stock).
Flag bottlenecks early using data models (e.g., Gantt charts, critical path analysis).
6. Improvement Projects & Digital Initiatives
KPIs tracking and gap analysis, Process Audits in SCM
Identify improvement action plans and drive implementation
Cost optimization projects, BOM costing analysis and improvement plans
Identify process gaps and plan digital initiatives.
Lead digital transformation initiatives in Supply Chain
7. Reporting & Dashboards
Build and maintain dashboards on tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for:
Procurement lead times
Inventory turnover
Optimization & Improvement Projects status tracking
Supplier performance
Key Result Areas
Supplier on-time delivery performance
Procurement lead time improvement
Project schedule adherence
Cost-saving through analytics-led actions
Improvement projects completion
Digitalization projects completion

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Requirement
Desired
Level of Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics or Business Administration.
Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or Lean Six Sigma are an added advantage.
Experience
Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with Power BI/Tableau is preferred.
Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.).
Understanding of discrete manufacturing processes and BOM structures.
Familiarity with engineering change orders, project-based manufacturing, and sourcing strategies.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
3–7 years of experience in Supply chain within a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with WM or APO is a plus. IT tools for Analytics
knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Fiori Analytics preferred.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and ETO/MTO workflows.
Preferably from capital equipment, pharma machinery, or custom engineering industries
Analytical and process-driven mindset with the ability to work with large datasets.
Hands-on experience with SAP modules: MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and IM (Inventory Management);
