To strategically elevate Moët Hennessy USA's brands by driving transformation and innovation within marketing procurement. This role is pivotal in enhancing consumer and route-to-market strategies, managing a significant A&P budget, and leading a high-performing procurement team.
Office/Location: Hybrid 3x a week based out of NYC Office
Compensation: $130,000-$163,000/ annually + bonus
Job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and develop a team of 2 Procurement Managers, fostering talent and collaboration.
Drive purchasing strategies that deliver competitive advantage, value creation, cost optimization for internal clients (Marketing & Sales).
Champion Moët Hennessy's global purchasing policies, compliance and procedures within North America.
Marketing Procurement & Business Partnership:
Manage a $120 million A&P budget across critical marketing categories including:
Media, Social Media, CRM, and Digital
Sponsorships & Partnerships
Brand Content & Creative Design
PR & Public Relations
Experiential & Events
Act as a trusted business partner to brand and marketing teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, brand-appropriate, and competitively sourced goods and services.
Organize and lead regular business reviews with internal clients and key suppliers.
Sourcing, Negotiation & Supplier Management:
Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including market scouting, tendering, and negotiation with suppliers and agencies.
Proactively manage supplier relationships and performance, evaluating and developing a strong agency and supplier panel.
Ensure compliance throughout the full purchasing process and associated tools.
Guarantee achievement of compliance, quality, timing, and cost objectives for all projects.
Innovation & Market Expertise:
Promote and implement innovation through a deep understanding of market trends, supplier capabilities, and competitor information.
Identify new product, process, and technical innovation initiatives, presenting suppliers' solutions to internal customers.
Maintain an expert-level understanding of the marketing category, key players, and industry trends.
Profile
Education :
Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.
Professional Experience & Skills:
7-9+ years of relevant experience in global business Purchasing functions, with significant exposure to Marketing (including agencies).
Strong knowledge of merchandising & agency landscapes and A&P marketing skills.
Consulting experience is a plus.
Fluent in English
French, Spanish languages are a plus
Proven experience managing and developing teams; strong leadership and charisma to influence stakeholders.
Demonstrated negotiation skills, strong presentation and coordination skills, analytical and effective database management capability.
Diplomat, client-oriented, inspiring trust, self-starter, curious, autonomous, strong team player with influencing skills, results-oriented, accountable, efficient, international mindset, and open-minded.
