Role Summary
Credit & Capital Management (CCM) is an important contributor to the Group: it supports 80% of the revenues generated by CIB. · The CCM COO Value Stream is responsible for delivering high priority programmes to simplify, digitise at scale and automate the credit and lending journey, as well as supporting the creation of a new, globally consistent credit and lending organisation serving CIB, UK and HK business lines which collectively build towards our vision of becoming a leader in digitally enabled domestic and cross border lending across network, by improving customer experience generating competitive advantage through use of data and participation in emerging borrowing models. · We are currently seeking experienced individuals to join this team in the role of Associate, Business Architect. · The role holder will actively engage with the CMB Business, other product providers, HOST, Transformation, IT, Wholesale Credit & Market Risk, Global Risk Analytics and other Risk Stewards to ensure alignment and to optimize the delivery of strategic initiatives
Key Responsabilities & Activities
Support the design and delivery of new digital products within the overall lending product portfolio · Partners with the front line, Business stakeholders and Risk Stewards to ensure the smooth delivery and adoption of new digital assets · Support Global P&D Architecture Team to drive the delivery of new designs across the region and ensure local nuances and/or contribution to be considered globally, with the aim of connecting the CCM experience across markets in Americas. · Prepare business papers and briefings to support the execution of CCM Strategy. · Provide business case for investment prioritization · Provide product and technical knowledge within strategic change programmes and ensure that the voice of the customer and RM remain at the center of product and service design · Establish & foster relationships with other departments responsible for delivering the CCM strategy– e.g. Segments, IT, channels, Operations, Change Delivery, etc.
Knowledge & Experience:
The following is essential:
Credit and Lending experience
Business architecture and operating model design experience
Ability to deal with complex requirements
Ability to meet exacting timescales
Strong analytical background with a high degree of attention to detail
Background working in cross-functional teams to drive requirements capture
To be flexible and adaptable in an environment of constantly changing priorities, challenging
bureaucracy and staying true to the values and strategy of the Group

Regulatory change programmes - risk approvals, model management, or regulation
Qualifications and Accreditations:
Evidence of self-development across a number of disciplines
Agile Methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Scrum Master, etc).
Proficiency in English both written and spoken
