Join Team NCS as a Senior Project Manager.

We're looking for Project Managers to lead the delivery of enterprise technology programmes that drive real business transformation. You'll orchestrate complex initiatives spanning data platforms, AI and GenAI solutions, ERP implementations, digital platforms, communications engineering, and public-sector transformation, managing projects from initiation through to successful operational handover.

This isn't just about tracking timelines and budgets. It's about coordinating cross-functional teams, building trusted stakeholder relationships, and ensuring every programme delivers meaningful outcomes on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Programme Planning & Delivery

Plan and deliver enterprise technology programmes across data, AI, GenAI, ERP, digital platforms, communications engineering, and public-sector transformation initiatives

Lead full lifecycle delivery from initiation through implementation and transition to operations

Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets while identifying and mitigating risks proactively

Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and ensure cohesive execution

Support implementation through to successful go-live, operational handover, and post-implementation stabilisation

Programme Governance & Control

Manage end-to-end programme governance, including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, quality, change control, and delivery milestones

Establish and maintain governance processes, steering committees, and reporting frameworks

Monitor project performance against key metrics and KPIs, implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget adherence

Manage project scope, changes, and conflicts with a focus on maintaining project integrity and stakeholder satisfaction

Ensure compliance with organisational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Track requirements changes and manage traceability throughout the project lifecycle

Stakeholder & Client Management

Coordinate with business, technical, and cross-functional teams to ensure programme objectives, dependencies, and implementation plans are aligned

Work closely with clients, partners, and delivery teams to manage expectations, resolve delivery challenges, and support effective decision-making

Provide clear executive stakeholder reporting on programme progress, financials, risks, issues, key decisions, and transition-to-operations readiness

Build trusted client relationships to ensure satisfaction, successful delivery, and long-term engagement

Manage stakeholder communications and expectations across all project phases

Team Coordination & Operational Excellence

Direct cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative environment that promotes accountability and excellence

Coordinate with business teams, technical teams, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment

Ensure consistent use of delivery methodologies, frameworks, and best practices

Guide teams using both Agile and Waterfall approaches where appropriate

Identify process improvements and implement best practices in project management methodologies and tools

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare project status updates, delivery reports, meeting materials, and management presentations

Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, schedules, risk registers, and lessons learned

Provide regular, transparent reporting to clients and senior leadership

Qualifications

Experience & Expertise

Experience in project or programme delivery, including governance, scope management, schedule tracking, budget control, and delivery coordination

Proven ability to manage project risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and quality controls across the delivery lifecycle

Experience coordinating with business teams, technical teams, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment

For senior assignments, experience in multi-stream programme delivery, financial management, resource planning, and executive stakeholder reporting would be advantageous

Experience managing projects in consulting or system integration environments is preferred

Public sector delivery experience is a strong advantage

Technical & Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies

Familiarity with enterprise technology domains such as:

Data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives

GenAI and Agentic AI solutions

ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Digital platforms and cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Communications engineering and network infrastructure

Public-sector transformation programmes

Project Management Skills

Strong planning, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to prepare project status updates, delivery reports, meeting materials, and management presentations

Proficiency with project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent platforms

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and project financials

Certifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum (CSM, CSPO, PSM), or equivalent certifications advantageous

Personal Attributes

Self-motivated with a positive "can-do" attitude

Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Able to lead, develop, and maintain respectful and trusting relationships

Experience working in a provider or vendor environment to deliver client projects

Familiar with working in a matrix organisation

Ability to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments
