We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our Defence and Maritime team. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will support the recruitment of specialist Defence, Maritime and technical professionals across Australia and New Zealand.
This is a hands-on role where your ability to proactively identify, engage and build relationships with passive candidates is just as important as your expertise in managing end-to-end recruitment processes.

As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you'll make a positive impact by:
Manage end-to-end recruitment across specialist Defence, Maritime and technical positions
Proactively source and engage passive candidates using sourcing tools, market mapping and targeted search strategies
Build and maintain talent pipelines for niche and specialist roles
Develop sourcing strategies and recruitment campaigns
Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, providing recruitment advice and market insights
Create engaging job advertisements and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Defence Talent Acquisition team

Demonstrated experience proactively sourcing passive candidates for niche specialist positions
Experience recruiting within Defence or Maritime industry will be highly regarded
Proven success using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing techniques to identify and engage talent
Experience managing end-to-end recruitment within an internal Talent Acquisition or agency environment
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously

As this role requires an Australian Defence Security Clearance, applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain that clearance.
