Mango Hill Tavern is looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Duty Manager to join our leadership team.

Located in the heart of Mango Hill, our recently renovated venue is a favourite with locals, featuring a vibrant bistro, spacious sports bar, gaming room, sweeping alfresco deck, family-friendly play area and a thriving functions business. With live entertainment, major sporting events and private functions, no two days are the same.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage, gaming and functions.

Delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high service standards.

Coaching, developing and motivating the front-of-house team.

Supporting labour management, venue presentation and operational compliance.

Managing bookings, private functions and key trading periods.

Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.

Assisting with cash management, revenue reporting and end-of-day reconciliation.

Working closely with the Venue Manager to drive operational success.

What We're Looking For

A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to building a long-term career.

Previous experience in a Duty Manager or similar leadership role.

Strong food, beverage and functions experience.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Sound understanding of cash handling, revenue reporting and venue operations.

Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in resolving guest concerns.

Effective labour management and rostering experience.

Proficient computer skills.

Current RSA & RSG certificates (RMLV highly regarded or willingness to obtain).
