About the Role
We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer who will report to our Electrical Manager at the Sino Iron Project. The role will include preventive, reactive, and shutdown maintenance, as well as project work, as required. Assisting our engineering team to carry out improvements and technical fault finding for our team at Sino Iron.
Your responsibilities will mainly include:
Assisting with QA/QC & Completions
Updating and maintaining the project register.
Creating estimates, tendering and quotes for work.
Assist in managing and coordinating engineering tasks.
Preparation of engineer-developed project quotations/estimates before client submission.
Review and analyse project design, monitor changes to designs, assess effects on cost and schedule and measure variations to designs.
Assist in the development of construction methodologies.
Assist in the development of MDR’s, ITP’s, checklists, and all other quality documents required for the projects.
Assist in preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the assigned engineering projects.
Perform overall quality control of the work through budget, schedules and plans
Track and report work progress on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Communicate with other engineers for the assignment of projects internally.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project/site managers, supervisors and other participants involved with the project to provide help and technical support.
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Procure and track goods required for the project and report their delivery.
Manage and monitor sub-contractors.
To be successful in this role we are seeking someone who has the following:

Knowledge of planning and scheduling requirements
Ability to speak Chinese (desirable)
Qualifications required for this role:
Australian recognised Electrical engineering degree.
OHS Construction Safety Induction 'White Card'.
Valid Australian driver's licence.
ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol screens
