Job Description

4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles

Experienced in working in a customer-facing role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders

Expert in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GCP Ingestion tools, including Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, GCS, etc.

Expertise in data modeling methodologies (e.g., Dimensional, 3NF, Data Vault) and designing optimized data forms (schemas) for analytical platforms like BigQuery.

Hands-on programming skills using SQL, Python, T-SQL, PL-SQL, Unix/C/C#Scripting tools.

Basic skills in software design & development using RDBMS.

Interpreting data models, relationships, data lineage & database connectivity details.

Proven expertise with Data Management, Data Warehousing, and Analytics, including extensive implementation experiences.

Deep experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modeling for large databases

Understanding of data management practices such as data integration, master data management, metadata management, data quality management, security/privacy, and data modeling.

Strong consultative and communication skills.

Certified professional(preferrable).

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform

Build and optimize BigQuery datasets, tables, views, and SQL queries for analytics and reporting

Implement ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP services such as Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Functions

Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms

Collaborate with data analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions

Implement data modeling (dimensional, star/snowflake schemas) for analytical workloads

Optimize BigQuery costs and performance through partitioning, clustering, and query tuning

Implement data security, access controls, and governance using IAM and best practices

Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for data platforms
