Job Description – Junior Accountant

Location: Santa Cruz East, Mumbai

Experience: 3 Years

It is a chemicals industry

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate should have 3 years of experience in accounting and possess strong knowledge of bookkeeping, GST, TDS, and financial record management.

Key Responsibilities: - Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and records.

- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.

- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain petty cash.

- Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts.

- Prepare and maintain GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance records.

- Generate MIS reports and financial statements as required.

- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.

- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal teams.

- Support the finance department in various accounting functions

. Required Skills: - Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime and MS Excel.

- Understanding of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping procedures.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. - Certification in Tally will be an added advantage.

Experience: - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
