RINA is currently recruiting for a MED Certification Scheme Owner & Portal Monitoring Project Manager to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.
Mission
The Project Manager ensures the operational coordination of Scheme Owner portal management and monitoring activities, guaranteeing alignment between internal systems and external platforms, as well as compliance with timelines and requirements defined by the scheme owners.
The role involves constant functional interaction with an international pool of operators dedicated to data entry and monitoring, ensuring consistency, data quality, and operational alignment in processes related to Decarbonization & Food schemes
Key Accountabilities
1. Operational coordination of activities
Coordinate and orchestrate operational activities, including:
data entry in scheme owner portals
updating files and documentation
monitoring certification progress status
Ensure consistent execution of activities among the different parties involved
2. Interaction with the operational pool
Interact on a daily basis with the pool of operators dedicated to data entry and monitoring, including at international level
Provide operational guidance, priorities, and clarifications according to process needs
Ensure proper information flow among operators, internal systems, and external portals
Verify the consistency of activities performed against defined standards
3. Planning and monitoring
Ensure compliance with milestones and timelines defined by scheme owners
Monitor KPIs and SLAs related to portal activities
Promptly identify deviations and operational issues
4. System alignment and data quality
Ensure consistency between data entered in scheme owner portals and internal systems
Oversee the quality, completeness, and updating of information
Support the adoption of operational standards and monitoring workflows
5. Stakeholder interaction
Interface with:
operational functions, including Planners, Auditors, and PMs
technical and commercial contacts
scheme owner counterparts
Coordinate the collection, validation, and sharing of required information
6. Performance monitoring and improvement
Analyze operational inefficiencies, including delays, errors, rework, and penalty risks
Promote corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to the standardization of portal management processes
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience managing a team of people on projects of moderate size/complexity and/or multiple projects simultaneously with a solid track record of successfully leading projects from initiation to completion on time, on budget, and within scope, including resource management across discipline
Technical & Professional Skills
Knowledge of KPIs, SLAs, and monitoring tools
Experience with digital portals and information systems
Excellent command of Excel; Power BI is preferred
Basic knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma
Good command of English

Compensation Data
The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).
The gross annual salary range foreseen is between € 40.000 and € 45.000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.
In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
