Job Description

Purpose of Position

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Delivery Enablement Lead for our Technology Hub in Madrid. This is a unique opportunity to become part of the founding team that helps shape the culture, practices, and technical direction. The Senior Delivery Enablement Lead plays a critical role in fostering high-performing engineering and product teams by embedding modern delivery practices, coaching teams and leaders, and enabling a culture of continuous improvement. The role will provide Scrum Master capabilities, supporting teams in establishing and improving agile practices where needed, with the goal of building long-term team autonomy.

You will contribute to global products and platforms that serve both internal and external customers in Commercial Real Estate across multiple regions. You will ensure delivery excellence, engineering quality and great consumer experience. You are a hands-on problem-solver with strong design principles, who thrives in a collaborative and agile environment. As a senior member of the Engineering Operations function, you will drive best practices. and mentor engineers while creating the environment for our engineering team to deliver impactful, secure and scalable solutions for our global business.

Essential Functions and Job Duties

Agile Practices and Scrum Enablement

Coach engineering and product teams in applying Agile, Lean, and DevOps best practices (backlog management, prioritization, collaboration) and ceremonies.

Strengthen and standardize the use of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe where applicable to improve delivery predictability.

Act as Scrum Master on a targeted basis, particularly for new, scaling, or struggling teams.

Facilitate key agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, retrospectives) where teams require support

Help teams establish sustainable, scalable agile practices that they can own independently over time.

Help teams shift from output-driven to outcome-driven delivery.

Team Performance and Collaboration

Partner with engineering and product leadership to establish effective cross-functional team structures.

Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, prioritization, and value-based delivery.

Strengthen collaboration between Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Product functions.

Identify delivery bottlenecks and work with teams to remove them systematically.

Metrics and Continuous Improvement

Define and track delivery health metrics (cycle time, lead time, predictability, throughput).

Guide teams and leadership on interpreting metrics to drive improvements without creating a culture of blame.

Promote continuous improvement practices at both the team and organizational levels.

Align delivery metrics with business objectives and Engineering Operations KPIs.

Change Leadership and Coaching

Act as a trusted coach to engineering managers, tech leads, and Product Owners on delivery excellence.

Facilitate workshops, training, and mentoring to build organizational delivery capability.

Support cultural change initiatives to improve transparency, accountability, and ownership.

Champion psychological safety and resilience as enablers of high performance.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

5-8+ years of professional experience in software delivery roles (e.g., Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Delivery Manager).

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.

Deep knowledge of Agile, Lean, and DevOps principles and practices.

Hands-on experience scaling Agile across a globally distributed, multicultural organization.

Strong facilitation, mentoring, and coaching skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven ability to bridge Product and Engineering teams for aligned delivery outcomes.

Strong analytical mindset to interpret metrics and identify improvement opportunities.

Agile Development experience (Scrum/Kanban), including story estimation, code reviews and pair programming.

Proficiency in using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub or Miro.

Excellent interpersonal and communication and storytelling skills and proven ability to work with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders. Fluent in English and Spanish.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Certified Agile Coach, SAFe Program Consultant, or similar Agile/Lean certifications.

Experience in configuring/customizing tools like Azure DevOps or Jira to best support agile processes

Background in software engineering, DevOps, or product management.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing tech environment and to foster change in larger organizations.
