Boeing Phantom Works has an exciting opportunity for an AssociateApplied Mathematician to join us as part of the Advanced Codes & Measurements team located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

Research, prototype, and compare mathematical algorithms

Code, test and maintain mathematical software tools

Assist in evaluating computational resources to solve mathematical problems

Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematical and statistical techniques

Influence colleagues to use appropriate mathematical tools and processes

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship, Post start. An interim or final U.S. Top-Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires the ability to obtain Special Program Access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

1+ years of experience with analytical, quantitative reasoning and/or mathematical modeling skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

Experience with computational mathematics

Experience prototyping algorithms and testing code

Experience with a high-level programming language such as Python, C++

Experience with neural networks or machine learning techniques

Summary pay range: $97,750 - $132,250
