Position Summary

Siemens is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and implement innovative software solutions that support both internal and external products. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications and products in alignment with business and customer requirements.

Ensure the overall functional quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability of software products across all supported platforms and environments.

Analyze complex technical challenges and develop effective, scalable solutions to address product and customer needs.

Create, document, review, and execute software designs, including solutions involving complex workflows, integrations, and cross-functional product interactions.

Lead technical projects and provide guidance on software architecture, design decisions, and development best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and other engineering disciplines, to achieve project objectives.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on software quality, development efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex product issues.

Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Demonstrated experience in software design, development, and implementation within a professional engineering environment.

Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development methodologies.

Ability to quickly understand complex products, systems, and technical challenges.

Experience leading technical projects and influencing technical direction within a team.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently with general supervision while exercising sound judgment on complex assignments.
