We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

Work across various platforms and collaborate with other support teams.

Design, develop, test and implement changes to the solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction.

Collaborate with other Development teams, test and maintain the platforms and their integration with other systems

Communicate with Product Owner and agile Pod on a regular basis as part of product/project support

Should be able to guide Junior team members in development & delivery.

Responsible to support production releases

Peer Review, CI/CD pipeline implementation and Service monitoring.

Should be flexible in working hours, ready to work in shift and On call

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Person should have 8-10 years of experience in s/w development on data analysis or big data projects, preferably data Engineer with Quantexa certification & work experience.

Good at Scala programming, Spark 2 or Spark 3 based applications, Spark SQL

Good understanding of CDP 7.1, HDFS filesystems, Unix, Unix Shell Scripting, Airflow

Good understanding of Elasticsearch

Good understanding of DevOps concepts/platforms

Experience in understanding and analyzing complex business requirements and carry out the system design accordingly.

Expertise building and deploying production level data processing batch systems maintained by application support teams.

Ability to work at pace, communicate clearly, operate independently and a good team player; Optional understanding of Cloud platforms.
