Description -
Before applying : please note that, to be eligible for this position, you must be currently enrolled at a university in Spain, remain enrolled until the end of the internship , and be eligible to sign an internship agreement with your university. You must also be available to start the internship in October 2026 and continue participating in the program for a minimum of 5 months and a maximum of 12 months.
Role Overview
HP is seeking a motivated, analytical Procurement & Analytics Intern to join the EMEA Supply Chain and Logistics Procurement team.
This internship offers hands-on experience in sourcing, supplier management, analytics, and digital transformation within a global technology company.
The intern will support regional procurement initiatives across Transportation, Warehousing, Drayage, and Customs, using Power BI, Databricks, Excel, and AI-powered solutions to turn logistics data into actionable insights. Working with logistics, finance, and business stakeholders, the intern will contribute to sourcing, supplier performance, cost optimization, and procurement digitalization.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Support
Support sourcing events, RFQs, supplier benchmarking, and market intelligence.
Collect, consolidate, and evaluate supplier proposals.
Participate in supplier selection and commercial evaluations.
Support contract management and supplier documentation.
Prepare business cases and sourcing recommendations.
Analytics & Business Intelligence
Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor procurement and supplier performance.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and savings opportunities.
Support data extraction, transformation, and visualization using Databricks and analytics platforms.
Perform spend analytics, cost modeling, and Total Cost of Ownership analysis.
Prepare executive-ready visuals for leadership reviews and steering committees.
Contribute to data-driven efficiency projects and AI, Power Platform, and analytics-based solutions.
Supplier Performance & Continuous Improvement
Support supplier KPI tracking, performance reviews, and QBR follow-up actions.
Identify process optimization, cost reduction, risk, and performance improvement opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Sustainability, and Analytics teams.
Support supplier and stakeholder communication across EMEA.
Join project meetings and contribute analytical insights to business discussions.
Qualifications
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
Supply Chain Management Engineering
Industrial or Logistics Engineering
Business Administration or related disciplines
Technical Skills Required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
PowerPoint presentation skills
Data visualization and reporting experience
Ability to work with large datasets
Preferred
Power BI, Databricks, SQL, Power Query, Power Platform, and AI or Machine Learning fundamentals
Soft Skills
Analytical thinking, problem solving, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Clear communication, presentation, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate data into business insights and work in a fast-paced international environment.
