About Your New Job
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
Drive improvements in the manufacture of electronic circuit cards and mechanical assembly of motion controllers.
Lead and support Continuous Improvement projects to enhance product quality, capability, and reduce costs.
Specify, justify, and install new equipment within schedule and budget.
Collaborate closely with in-house and corporate design teams, providing DFM input.
Lead New Product Introduction including costings, assembly process development, and SOP creation.
Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, throughput, cost, and EHS standards.
Identify and implement process improvements with Lean tools.
Support production with SMT, PTH, selective solder, cleaning, coating, and automated mechanical assembly equipment.
Train staff on processes and equipment, and design safe product handling solutions.
What Skills You Need
Level 8 degree qualification.
Proven experience in electronics manufacturing.
Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Practical, constructive, and analytical approach to problem solving.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with cross-functional teams and customers.
High degree of flexibility to adapt work patterns during demand spikes.
