About this vacancy

You are part of a multidisciplinary team of software and electrical engineering specialists. Following the handover of the pre-engineering phase, you will be responsible for the entire software process. You develop the PLC and robot software, create functional and test documentation, and oversee the commissioning of the machine – both in the workshop and at the customer’s location.

The projects are fully customized, without fixed standards. This means ample room for personal input and technical creativity. You work closely with colleagues from other disciplines and serve as the technical point of contact for both the team and the customer.

Your responsibilities:

Develop and program PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal, B&R Automation Studio)

Commission and configure servo drives

Program and test safety PLCs

Offline simulation and preparation of robot code (RobotStudio)

Functional testing and teaching of machines in the workshop

Create functional and test documentation

Commissioning at customer sites both domestically and abroad

Technical consultation with internal teams and external stakeholders

What we expect from you

Experience with PLC control technology and servo systems

Knowledge of industrial robotics (ABB, Kuka, Yaskawa) or willingness to learn

Affinity with mechanics and process technology (e.g., welding processes)

Practical and structured work approach

Proficiency in Dutch and English

Willingness to travel internationally (in consultation)

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, industrial automation, or similar
