About the Role
There is an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Lidcombe Site, this is a full-time role to provide data analysis, reporting and commercial support to the Commercial Business Units to facilitate informed decision-making and business performance improvement. The annual salary for this role is not less than $79,423.00 plus superannuation.
Role Responsibilities:
Generating and maintaining automation of Sales reports and functions (weekly, monthly, ad-hoc)
Help in Managing and maintaining Cost Prices and standard Prices
Assisting with ad-hoc data requests and projects as needed
Gathering data from various sources, cleaning, formatting, and preparing it for analysis. Retrieving data as requested by other team members or department
Ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive information
System Maintenance (Automated reports, ongoing auditing of data maintenance of program)
Updating internal and external pricing/costings
Problem solving – identifying and understanding the root cause, highlighting any risks, proposing solution, executing and/or escalating to Commercial Manager
Internal system maintenance including Inventory maintenance and creating codes for new product lines
Maintain and create effective and efficient work processes and procedures. Compile, file and complete client tender documentation
Analysing and interpreting sales, pricing and operational data to identify trends, patterns and business insights, and producing analytical reports and insights to support commercial decision-making
Collaborating with management and internal stakeholders to determine data requirements, reporting objectives and methodologies for data collection and analysis
Evaluating the accuracy, reliability and integrity of source data and implementing data validation procedures to maintain data quality standards
Performing data mining and data cleansing activities to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for process improvements and business optimisation
Developing and maintaining dashboards, charts and visualisations to communicate analytical findings and business insights to management and stakeholders
Applying data analytical tools and techniques to transform, process and interpret business data for reporting and decision-making purposes
Utilising reporting and database tools to automate data extraction, processing and visualisation activities
Preparing analytical reports, presentations and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational decision-making
About you:
Relevant Bachelor degree or higher qualification, plus at least 1 year of full-time experience in a similar role
Advanced Excel and reporting skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP and formulas)
Able to communicate and work with various stakeholders to understand data and support decision making
Strong data literacy
High attention to detail and accuracy
High organisational skills
Relevant experience within the manufacturing industry would be an advantage
