Roster: 5:2/4:3

Included: Residential housing, site transport, flights at the start and end of the program, plus return travel over the festive period.

About the role

Work within our planning team, supporting the planning and optimisation of mining activities that help deliver safe and efficient production outcomes.

You'll gain exposure to mine design, scheduling, data analysis and operational planning while working alongside experienced mining engineers.

Some of your work may include:

Assist with the development of medium-term mine plans and production schedules

Support mine design activities for underground and/or open pit operations

Analyse operational and production data to identify improvement opportunities

Assist with mine planning software and reporting processes

Participate in planning, production and safety meetings

Contribute to projects focused on productivity, efficiency and mine optimisation

Collaborate with engineers, geologists and operational teams to support mining outcomes

About you

We're looking for motivated students who are curious, hands-on and keen to grow their technical skills.

You'll be:

Studying Mining Engineering or a related discipline

Interested in mine planning, mine design and operational optimisation

A strong problem-solver with analytical thinking skills

Curious and willing to learn from experienced professionals

A confident communicator and team player

Willing to live and work in a regional mining environment

Hold a valid manual driver's licence
