Summary

As a member of the mobilization team, the Mobilization Manager will lead and execute agreed mobilization solutions in an agile manner, ensuring stakeholder engagement. This role will be responsible for taking charge of new contracts and change initiatives, supporting the Business Development, Operational and Support Services teams.

This role collaborates with all internal and external departments throughout the project lifecycle. From launch through the stabilization phase while instilling a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Description

Mobilization

Act as the conductor who leads the mobilization process for new contracts, using corporate processes (new contracts, services, or integration of a new entity within the group);

Review contractual documentation (deliverables, key milestones, timelines, resources);

Ensure integration of health and safety aspects and coordinate risk analyses;

Manage risks proactively (identification, mitigation strategies);

Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Procurement, Quality, Safety, Finance, etc.);

Organize and lead internal and external meetings related to the mobilization project, ensuring clear and effective communication among all stakeholders;

Monitor cost evolution and compliance with the mobilization budget;

Coordinate procurement processes for tools, health and safety equipment, spare parts, consumables, and subcontractors;

Coordinate the establishment of operating and maintenance procedures, emergency procedures, and business continuity plans;

Act as interim operational manager for sites under transition;

Perform equipment condition inspections and produce status reports;

Implement daily rounds of electromechanical installations;

Develop training content on the operation of installations;

Draft and implement operational monitoring reports (KPIs).

Operations and Academy Support

Collaborate in creating specialized technical training content;

Assist in supervising technical internships in partnership with Equans Academy;

Ensure replacement of operations manager in case of prolonged absence;

Support operations by sharing innovative solutions and standardizing processes;

Support strategic organizational initiatives related to contract transition and evolution.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance

Responsible for continuous improvement of mobilization processes, including drafting policies and procedures;

Contribute to implementing policies and procedures adapted to contractual and regulatory requirements (SOPs);

Support change initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Requirements

College diploma in building mechanics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or any equivalent combination of experience;

Understanding of CMMS systems and operational processes related to offered services;

Minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex projects, preferably in an integrated facilities management environment;

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an operational manager of technical installations;

Knowledge of applicable standards and maintenance methods for technical installations;

Proven experience in managing project budgets and risks;

In-depth understanding of mobilization and contract transition processes;

Proficiency in project management tools and associated software;

Ability to travel regularly across North America;

Fluency in spoken and written English.

Pay range : 115 000 $ to 125 000$ annually
