Be part of a world-class menu team innovating to deliver unique beverage experiences across the U.S. As a product manager, you will play a pivotal role managing the development, commercialization, and go-to-market approach of promotional beverages. You will build and implement strategy and innovation for seasonal products and key platforms to bring the next wave of exciting Starbucks beverages to our customers.

As a product manager in front end innovation, you will…

Support long-term innovation strategy: You will support the team in building the 3+ year Starbucks At Home Coffee pipeline, leveraging macrotrends and consumer and business insights to craft a holistic Starbucks strategy that will deliver against our strategic priorities today and tomorrow.

Lead the development and launches of big bet innovation: You will lead the development of new products, including collaborating and actively problem solving with cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and strong execution of innovation. Efficiently & effectively drive projects/issues to cross-functional resolution.

Leverage leadership and strategic thinking skills: You will influence and inspire across internal and external cross-functional partners across Starbucks and Nestlé. You will serve as a connector across multiple Nestlé brand teams and multiple Starbucks internal teams to develop strategic recommendations for product categories and/or innovation territories.

Bring medium-term innovation to commercialization: You will be responsible for co-developing and participating in design and test/learn strategies that progress long-term innovation across all facets that ready commercialization including progressing desirability, feasibility, and viability phases, as well as taking these projects through the stage gate process.

We’d love to hear from people with:

A passion for and history of launching successful innovation (CPG experience preferred)

3-5+ years’ experience in product innovation, brand/category management, marketing or strategy experience

Project leadership in a cross-functional environment (2+ years)

Strong human-centered design and test/learn experience, including interpreting and leveraging consumer insights to develop products and build brands rooted in customer empathy

Experience developing and executing on product strategies to bring new products to life, managing through the first year in market

Ability to work in a matrix environment and to collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally

Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to leverage data and insights to inform actions that will grow a business

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Ability to function effectively with high degrees of ambiguity and change

Strong interpersonal skills

MBA strongly preferred

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
