The position is responsible for leading the product engineering (manufacturing services) team to support the successful manufacturing, sustainment, and continuous improvement of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Customer-to-Order (CTO) products. This role provides technical leadership, prioritizes engineering activities, and ensures execution of product-related initiatives that support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction.

The position leads a multidisciplinary team of 5 Manufacturing Services Engineers and 35 Technicians, driving engineering excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and operational performance while supporting new product introductions, engineering changes, product sustainment, and manufacturing optimization.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 Mfg. Services Engineers and 35 Technicians, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture.

Establish priorities, allocate resources, and ensure execution of engineering activities supporting daily manufacturing operations.

Serve as primary technical leader for product sustainment across ETO and CTO product families.

- Resolve complex manufacturing and product -related technical issues through methodologies.

Partner with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply chain, Operations, Manufacturing process, and Global Teams to ensure successful execution of product engineering projects.

Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), product revisions, and manufacturing documentation updates while minimizing production disruptions.

Support New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfers, and industrialization activities to ensure manufacturing readiness.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, lead time, and customer satisfaction.

Ensure manufacturing documentation, BOMs, routings, and engineering standards remain accurate and up to date.

Analyze manufacturing performance metrics and develop action plans to improve operational results.

Promote Lean Manufacturing principles and structures problem-solving tools such as Root Cause Analysis, A3, Kaizen, PFMEA, and standard work.

Support capacity planning, risk assessments, and manufacturing strategy for highly customized products.

Ensure compliance with Rockwell Automation standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable industry certifications.

Develop technical capabilities within the team through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer focus.

The essentials - You will have

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, product engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum 2 years of experience leading engineering teams or technical personnel.

Experience supporting ETO and CTO manufacturing environments.

Strong Knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering change management, product lifecycle management, and production support.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement.

Strong project management, prioritization,.

Advanced English.

The Preferred - You might have

Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.

Experience within the electrical equipment, industrial automation, or power distribution industry.

Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialization, and product transfers.

Familiarity with quality tools including APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.

Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.

Knowledge of UL, IEC or other applicable electrical industry standards.
