About the role
As Lead – Cost Out Intelligence & Support, you will play a key role in preparing cost calculations and quotations for new customer projects. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and NPI teams, you will ensure that our solutions are both competitive and profitable.

Responsibilities
Lead the quotation process for customer RFQs.
Develop and maintain cost models for new projects.
Analyse and validate cost assumptions.
Support Make-or-Buy evaluations and sourcing decisions.
Work with cross-functional teams to gather and challenge cost data.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative solutions.
Provide clear business cases and cost comparisons.
Support a smooth transition from quotation to serial production.
Our requirements
Experience in costing, quotation, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, or finance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work across multiple functions and stakeholders.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
Ability to read and understand technical and product documentation, which serves as a key input for preparing accurate cost calculations and customer quotations.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience from a global manufacturing company is an advantage.
