Senior Observability Engineer

Role description

Key Skills Required

Experience with application and system monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace, Grafana)

Strong background in monitoring, ing, and incident management

Experience working with performance and user-experience telemetry (web and mobile applications)

Knowledge of API-based integrations and data ingestion

Experience supporting production applications and improving issue detection/resolution

Familiarity with Real User Monitoring (RUM) and performance analytics is highly preferred

Experience with Akamai mPulse, Contentsquare, or similar digital experience monitoring tools is a plus

Role Responsibilities

Integrate user experience and performance monitoring data into the observability platform

Create dashboards and s to detect customer-impacting issues early

Improve visibility into application performance and front-end errors

Support faster troubleshooting and reduction of incident resolution times

Partner with engineering teams to enhance monitoring coverage across Disney digital products

Experience Level

Senior-level resource (preferably 7+ years of relevant experience)

Strong independent contributor who can drive the work with minimal supervision
