Purpose of the Role:
The role will provide financial support and analysis to the Dutch Business Unit and work closely with the group and local finance team in the preparation of the BU management and statutory accounts and in provision of internal controls & timely reporting. The role will also work with the commercial teams to on tenders, develop budget and financial forecast and supporting ad hoc business and systems initiatives.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities
Provide financial support and analysis to the Business Unit
Work closely with the Finance and the sales & commercial team in implementing their commercial and business development strategy.
Prepare the weekly accounts and management accounts.
Working with commercial to trouble shoot any commercial issues.
Design, update, and maintain financial performance dashboards for the benefit of the business.
Build cost model templates for Commercial to assist with tenders and financial sign off
Assist the business in building detailed and accurate budgets & forecasts, analysing, and explaining variances.
Drives bi-monthly category and customer reviews, allowing the procurement & sales team to have a longer view of their financial performance.
Ensure strict overheads controls and reconciliations.
Support continuous improvement projects.
Act as first interface between the business & finance.
Help ensure respect of internal controls in The Netherlands & commercial policy.
Review and analyse operational efficiency through KPI performance.
Manage our intercompany procedures and processes with regards to; suppliers & customer set up, invoices and credit notes, deals & hedging.
Reviewing and approving credit requests from customers.
Ensuring completeness of customer billing and liaising with collections team to resolve issues
Design, update, and maintain financial performance dashboards for the benefit of the business.
Lead the Budget Preparation building detailed and accurate budgets & forecasts, analysing, and explaining variances.

Person Specification and Technical Competencies
Professional English mandatory
Qualified accountant
Capacity to interact with senior management and other functional areas
Proven leadership capabilities
Excellent organisational skills with strong values-based way of working
Analytical skills
Attention to detail and able to work at pace
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in BI & Data Viz tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Datastudio, Domo, SAP analytics...)
Experience in Financial Controlling/Business Analysis in FMCG environment
