About the Role

As a Senior Business Financial Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing operational financial leadership and consultancy across one of our Programs. This role is responsible for driving the delivery of high-level financial support services, including detailed analysis of service financial performance, patient care activity, expenditure and revenue. You will provide leadership to other members of the Business Support team while delivering expert advice on cost drivers, resource management and financial reporting to support effective decision-making and strategic planning.

Your expertise will also contribute to improving organisational efficiency by reviewing, developing and implementing work practices, policies, financial models, and resource plans. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will ensure financial processes align with organisational goals and enhance service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to influence financial outcomes and contribute directly to the quality of care provided within the Program.

About You

You are a highly motivated financial professional with strong leadership capability and a commitment to delivering quality financial services. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly, influence stakeholders, and manage competing demands will be critical to your success in this role. You are solutions-focused, resilient under pressure, and dedicated to driving continuous improvement within a dynamic environment.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage staff performance, and deliver financial services including budgeting, reporting, and analysis.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated experience in applying financial legislation, risk management, safety standards, and quality improvement principles.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and financial systems, with a commitment to customer service and professional development.
