Senior Tableau & Alteryx Administrator (Cloud + DevOps Expertise)

We are seeking a highly experienced Tableau & Alteryx Administrator with deep cloud engineering expertise and strong end to end server administration capabilities. This role supports mission critical analytics platforms and requires a strategic thinker with exceptional follow through. Core Responsibilities Full administration of Tableau Server and Alteryx Server (installation, upgrades, backups, DR, security, APIs, automation, firewall) Configure and manage identity providers: SAML, Active Directory, and related integrations Troubleshoot complex server level and user issues using strong networking fundamentals Diagnose and resolve performance issues for dashboards and workflows (including Redshift backed dashboards) Administer Windows and Linux server environments Build automation using PowerShell and Python Manage certificates across Tableau and Alteryx environments Provide 24x7 production support, including on call rotation Additional Hands On Skills (Huge Advantage) • AWS Lambda, Step Functions • Terraform, IaC • System Design fundamentals • Kafka • API Development • CloudWatch Strong foundation in cloud technologies: Python, Java, AWS, Lambda, Step Functions Required Qualifications 15+ years of hands on AWS cloud engineering experience 7+ years of US work experience (Mandatory) Proven end to end administration of Tableau Server and Alteryx Server Strong expertise in SAML, Active Directory, and authentication/identity providers Deep experience with Terraform Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Strategic thinker with consistent communication and reliable follow through AWS Certifications preferred: Solutions Architect – Professional DevOps Engineer – Professional Nice to Have AWS (VPCs, EC2, networking, certificate management) CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
